## Military Pension And Retirement Benefits

The divorce process for individuals in the military or for military spouses is different than a civilian divorce. Specific guidelines and laws must be followed during divorce negotiations and during property division.

This act protects spouses of military members if they are entitled to their spouse’s military pension.
