POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing clerical tasks within the office to support daily operations of Brown Family Law. Their duties include answering and transferring phone calls to employees, communicating and scheduling with potential clients and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with attorneys.

OBJECTIVES
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office, directing visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Conversing with prospective clients by phone and email to become familiar with their cases
- Scheduling initial consultation appointments with attorneys for promising potential clients
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email, in addition to other forms of communication with clients in reference to their cases
- Onboarding new clients by filling out necessary paperwork and putting together initial case files
- Role-play every day to increase sales and closing skills in order to be more effective at scheduling consultations with potential clients
- Attend mandatory daily sale meetings at 8:30 a.m.
- Review and work toward daily, weekly, and monthly intake team goals on a daily basis
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing; assisting attorney’s with general office duties
- Other duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Drive Suite
- Experience with office equipment (computers, printers, etc.)
- Professional attitude and appearance

- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great phone, sales and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Willingness to learn and improve professionally
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs

ADDITIONAL PAY OPPORTUNITIES
- Earns commissions for scheduling consultations with qualified leads
