What Is the Right of First Refusal?

Hi, I’m Marco Brown from Brown Family in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I wanted to take a moment and answer a question that question is what is the right of first refusal the writer first refusal is the idea that it’s better that children are cared for by their parents than by other people. So, here’s a prime example of that: you have divorced parents and the kid is with one of the parents and that parent has to go to work for eight or ten hours. What the writer first refusal says is it’s better for that kid to be with the other parent than to be in daycare or with grandma. So, what you would need to do is if you’re the one going to work for eight or ten hours, is call the other parent and say “Hey, do you want to watch our kid during this period of time?” If they do, then they have the opportunity to do that. If they can’t, then you can go to daycare, then you can have the child with grandma. But really the front right of first refusal is this idea that it’s best that children are cared for by their parents instead of by third parties and by daycares.
